Participants needed for neuroimaging investigations of language research study
11 April 2013
We are currently recruiting
healthy young people aged 5-16 years to take part our project: Neuroimaging
investigations of language to aid paediatric neurosurgical decision-making.
What is involved?
Participants will visit UCL for neuropsychological assessment (intelligence and language). They will also have the opportunity to visit Great Ormond Street Hospital for a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) brain scan. MRI is a safe brain scan, which uses magnetism to create a picture of the brain.
Full ethical approval for this study has been obtained from the London-Queens Square Research Ethics Committee (reference number is 12/LO/1195).
As a thank you…
As a thank you for their time and co-operation, participants will receive a £10
gift voucher and a picture of their brain to take home.
If you are interested and would like further information please contact me directly (firstname.lastname@example.org:email@example.com).
