1 February 2013

The monthly street food market in the UCL South Quad reopened on 30 January with new organisers and, most importantly, some delicious and exciting new stalls.

The market, run by UCLU, is now supplied by KERB, who run a number of well-known markets around London, including a four day a week one in Kings Cross. Highlights from the stalls include Bhangra Burger, Fundi Pizza and the Ribman.

Located in the UCL South Quad, just outside the Print Room Café, the market takes place between 11am and 3.30pm on the last Wednesday of every month.

Petra Barran, a UCL student who is also one of the organisers for KERB, commented on the market: 'To be offered such a space to show off our amazing food traders is a really positive thing for outdoor trading in London and it will also give a new group of non-students a reason to engage with this iconic campus - the first truly public space we have ever set up shop in.'

The UCLU food market is open to the public as well as the UCL community. Click here for more information.
