The open day is for all prospective graduate students interested in joining the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, Social and Historical Sciences and the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies (SSEES). They will have the chance to meet with Graduate Tutors, Heads of Departments and other academic staff to discuss the Masters and PhD programmes offered by the faculties. There will also be the chance to find out more about the facilities, accommodation and career support open to UCL students.

The event will take place in UCL's main Bloomsbury Campus, which is surrounded by the greatest concentration of libraries, museums and archives in Europe.

Dr. Stephanie Bird, who is the Faculty Graduate Tutor for Arts and Humanities, commented on the event: "This is a unique opportunity for students to visit UCL and learn more about the wide range of graduate programmes on offer. Representatives from departments will be there to answer questions about the variety of courses available from English, to History, to modern European Languages and Classics. Students will also be able to learn more about other services offered by UCL such as our Careers Service which helps alumni enter the workplace after they complete their degree."
