UCL forum - The future of sport: Business, technologies and public engagement

As the UK prepares for the 2012 Olympics, UCL Advances has organised a forum on the future of sport on Thursday 18 June.

The forum will focus on the opportunities that sport provides for academics, researchers and businesses looking to build their brand and investors wanting original propositions.

Topics may include:

  • Designing and building of major sporting facilities
  • Regulation of sporting activities
  • Drug detection in sport
  • Performance enhancing training and medical treatments
  • Engineering behind sporting equipment

The forum, which is free for all staff and students, will take place between 2pm and 6.30pm at the South Cloisters, Gower Street.
