UCL Laws debate: To be or not to be - the right to die

UCL Laws is hosting the annual UCL/Bindman Debate on 30 June 2009 from 6-7:30pm.

The motion is: 'To be or not to be: a decision for the individual or the State?'

The panellists will include:

Baroness Jane Campbell, leading disability rights campaigner and Commissioner of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights
Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt, MP
Sir Ken Macdonald, former Director of Public Prosecutions
Sarah Wootton Chief Executive of Dignity in Dying.

Marcel Berlins will take the chair.

The debate will be held in the Cruciform Lecture Theatre 1 from 6pm and will be followed by a drinks reception. All are welcome.
