“By my estimate, 72% of Greek centenarians were pension fraud cases in 2012,” said Dr Saul Justin Newman (UCL Centre for Longitudinal Studies) on his Ig Nobel Prize-winning research highlighting the shortcomings in data around the study of people living past 105 years of age.
