Reducing investment demand for housing key to solving the housing affordability crisis

Reforming the UK's planning system, mortgage market and property tax regime would discourage demand for housing as a financial asset to broaden access to affordable housing, finds a new report by Professor Josh Ryan-Collins (UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose).
