Professor Michael Berkowitz (UCL Hebrew & Jewish Studies) described Anne Frank’s diary as a “witness-testimony to the assault on Jews by the Nazis and their accomplices — which resulted in the murder of roughly three-quarters of Jews in the Netherlands”.
