Rape victims ‘undermined’ by poor video technology in courts

A study by Professor Cheryl Thomas (UCL Laws) found that there were 10 per cent fewer convictions in trials overall that used pre-recorded evidence — and conviction rates were 20 per cent lower in rape trials.
