Brain’s ‘escape switch’ controlled by threat sensitivity dial

Neuroscientists at UCL including Professor Tiago Branco (UCL Sainsbury Wellcome Centre) have discovered how the brain reacts to threats in order to escape if needed, in a new study in mice.
