Archaeology breakthrough as 2,000-year-old coin solves mystery of 'fake' Roman Emperor

Research led by Professor Paul Pearson (UCL Earth Sciences) discovered scratch marks when studying the coin under a microscope, proving it was being circulated 2,000 years ago.
