Alzheimer’s drugs should be prescribed like statins to stave off dementia, says neuroscientist

“My dream is that you go into your doctor at age 60, and you have a test, just as you would for cholesterol… If it finds you’re at high risk of Alzheimer’s disease, let’s put you on these anti-amyloid drugs,” said Professor John Hardy (UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology).
