Relief for 1.7million Britons suffering antibiotic resistant urinary tract infections after scientists develop new treatments

"The (urinary tract) infections are one of the most common reasons NHS doctors give out prescriptions. This is fuelling the spread of these aggressive, hard-to-kill bugs," explained Professor Jennifer Rohn (UCL Medicine) as a new antibiotic called gepotidacin is developed.
