Ovarian cancer detected using loyalty card data

Dr Yasemin Hirst (UCL Institute of Epidemiology & Health) contributed to research that found purchasing data on when women buy pain and indigestion medication, taken from loyalty card purchases of over-the-counter medicine, can help spot ovarian cancer.
