Cumbria coalmine firm’s plans are ‘not legally compliant’

Professor Paul Ekins (UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources) expressed concerns that the plans from West Cumbria Mining were “not legally compliant” under the UK’s and EU’s current policy frameworks on carbon emissions.
