UK in talks to open North Sea ‘energy island’ by 2030

Commenting on the National Grid’s proposal to build an ‘energy island’ of windfarms in the North Sea, Professor Neil Strachan (UCL Energy Institute) says the plan is “very exciting” however will likely cost “tens of billions”.
