Importance of vaccination emphasised by UCL expert who discovered link between AstraZeneca and new thrombotic syndrome

Professor Marie Scully (UCL Cardiovascular Science) says she was surprised to find the potential link behind rare cases of blood clots in those who have had the jab. However, she says vaccines are important to “rid ourselves of this pandemic”.
