New blood test could be a game-changer for treating Alzheimer’s disease

A new study led by Professor Jonathan Schott (Dementia Research Centre, UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology) finds that blood tests measuring the Alzheimer’s protein amyloid may reduce the cost of clinical trials and potentially open the door to treating the disease earlier.
