Use lateral flow tests ‘hours before’ festive get-togethers with high-risk people

People should use lateral flow tests hours before meeting up with others in light of the apparent infectiousness of the Omicron variant, as those infected “may switch from being non-infectious to infectious within hours,” says Professor Irene Petersen (UCL Epidemiology & Health).
