Scientists study whether immune response wards off or worsens Covid

A joint study co-authored by Dr Dan Davis (UCL MRC Unit for Lifelong Health & Ageing) analysed patient samples from before the Covid-19 pandemic and found that a large number already had antibodies which would recognise the virus.
