Experts call for ‘circuit breaker’ to halt coronavirus spread

Professor Susan Michie (UCL Psychology & Language Sciences) explains that a circuit breaker would help lower the transmission of the coronavirus, as the current situation of mixed messaging “undermines trust, a sense of national purpose and motivation to adhere to restrictions.”
