In a new project from the UCL Plasticity Lab, Dr Dani Clode (UCL Psychology & Language Sciences) has designed ‘the third thumb’, a 3D-printed prosthesis thumb which is controlled by the wearer’s feet, which helps examine how the brain adapts to having an extra limb.
