A million smokers kick the habit during pandemic

Over a million people in the UK have stopped smoking since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a further 440,000 smokers trying to quit in the same period, finds analysis by Action on Smoking and Health (ASH), checked by Dr Sarah Jackson (UCL Epidemiology & Health).
