School closures do not have a significant effect on Covid-19 spread

The evidence to support the closure of schools to combat Covid-19 is “very weak” and school closures are likely to have minimal impact on the spread of the virus, finds a new study led by Professor Russell Viner (UCL GOS Institute of Child Health).
