Water found for first time on potentially 'habitable' planet

A team led by Dr Angelos Tsiaras, Dr Ingo Waldmann and Professor Giovanna Tinetti (UCL Physics & Astronomy) used data from the ESA/NASA Hubble Space Telescope to analyse the starlight filtered through the atmosphere of exoplanet K2-18b, revealing the molecular signature of water.
