American colonisation killed so many it cooled the earth

A study by PhD candidate Alexander Koch, Professor Mark Maslin and Dr Chris Brierley (UCL Geography) concludes that the colonisation of America in the 15th century killed so many people that it disturbed the Earth’s climate.
