New research sheds light on juries’ attitudes to rape cases

Discussing the results of her study on juries, Professor Cheryl Thomas (UCL Faculty of Laws) says the vast majority of jurors do not believe in long-standing rape myths but many would welcome more judicial guidance when deciding on cases of rape and violence against women.
