UCL has been awarded £12.6m to enable a new generation of PhD students to create artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Two of the 16 new Centres for Doctoral Training will be led by Professor David Barber (UCL Computer Science) and Professor Geraint Rees (UCL Life Sciences).
