Older pedestrians at risk when crossing the road

A joint study led by Professor Jenny Mindell (UCL Institute of Epidemiology & Health Care) and the charity Living Streets has found that millions of elderly people are at risk when crossing the road, because traffic lights don’t take account of their slower walking speed.
