A new look for UCL websites is coming this week
26 January 2026
From 28 January, UCL's updated brand will launch across our Drupal 10 websites. Find out more.
Following our announcement in The Week@UCL newsletter on 15 January, we are pleased to confirm that the refreshed brand and new visual identity will launch across the Drupal 10 web estate on Wednesday 28 January. Drupal 7 sites will continue to use the current designs until all sites are migrated into Drupal 10 later this year.
The new website designs bring to life the refreshed brand for this key digital platform and are aligned to the UCL design system.
The changes you will see on 28 January on the UCL website include:
- new header and logo
- new search and global menu
- updated look for the secondary/faculty nav
- new button and link styles
- new homepage hero
- new global footer
You’ll also see the new colour palette, typography and spacing across the Drupal 10 web estate as well as all in-page content components.
The second phase begins in late March and we’ll follow an agile and iterative process to release the refreshed website layouts and components over the course of this year.
In terms of your other digital channels and platforms, note there is no expectation that other digital products will be updated immediately. Visit the Brand and Experience portal for more information.
