Students can now register interest for exciting learning opportunities coming in term three
22 January 2025
New Extended Learning Opportunities will take place from 28 April to 13 June. Students can choose activities from our learning strands to develop skills or try something new.

During term three, all undergraduate and postgraduate students on a taught course will be able to choose from a huge range of exciting activities on campus, designed to enrich their UCL education.
Run in collaboration with Students’ Union UCL, the Extended Learning Opportunities programme follows a successful pilot and feedback from students in 2024.
Coming this spring
Activities will take place during term three, from 28 April to 13 June.
Students will be able to take a break from working on assessments or dissertation planning and get hands-on opportunities to develop skills or try something new.
There are four learning strands to choose from:
- Innovate and Create
- Connect with Communities
- Debate the future
- Supercharge your career.
Next steps
Please let your students know they can submit this online form using their UCL email address to be one of the first to know when the programme opens for registration in February.
Around the launch, we will share a pack of digital resources with staff across Faculties to help with local promotion to students.
If you have a question about the programme, you can contact Sally Mackenzie, Associate Director (Education and Student Experience).
