Help make our 2025 Graduation Ceremonies a success!

Dear colleagues, 

The time has come once again for us to reach out for your help and support in the running of the 2025 graduation ceremonies at Royal Festival Hall. These are taking place from 12–16 May, 14 July and 8–12 September. We would be so grateful for any time you can offer to help make these events magical for our new graduates. 

Helping at Graduations is a real team effort and is truly a fun, rewarding and enjoyable experience. You'll get to meet our graduating students and people from across UCL, and work with colleagues from within VPEE and across the institution.    

What to expect?  

As part of our registration team, you will be the first smiling faces our graduates and their guests see as you check them in and give them their tickets. We’ll give you all the information and everything you need on the day. Some colleagues will be on our VIP/Accessibility desk – you will receive a separate briefing on arrival.  

We will provide all catering: breakfast, lunch, drinks, and snacks will be available for the duration.

How to register 

Please let us know when you're available by completing this form by Tuesday 25 February. Once the rota is confirmed, we will send further details and your assigned shift times. Please include all of the times that you're available, and we will distribute shifts fairly across the three sets of dates.

We will confirm shifts in May first and aim to confirm the July and September shifts as soon as possible.

You can also let us know about any dietary requirements on the form, as well as any accessibility needs you may have.

Once shifts are confirmed we will send a confirmation email via ceremonies@ucl.ac.uk and we will ask you to add these to your diary as a reminder.
