Last chance to complete the My UCL Experience staff survey for your chance to win an iPad!

22 March 2022

We’re giving away 2 iPads (or an equivalent donation to the student hardship fund) to winners randomly chosen from staff who complete the My UCL Experience survey – the survey closes on Friday, 25 March.

Graphic: Welcome to the My UCL Experience survey

Thanks to everyone who has already taken the time to complete the My UCL Experience survey – over 3,000 of you have made your voices heard so far.

But we’d like to hear from many more of you, so to increase the incentive for you to spend around 10 minutes telling us about your experience of working at UCL, we have decided to give an iPad (or the equivalent value as a donation to the student hardship fund) to two winners who will be picked at random from everyone who completes the survey.

If you've already competed the survey, don’t worry – you will automatically be included in the draw.

If you haven't had a chance to take part yet, the survey will be open until 25 March.

Your participation in the survey will still be confidential. Qlearsite, our partners, will choose the two winners at random and will check with those winners if they’re happy for their details to be shared with HR before passing their details on to us.

Just to note, we’ve sent the survey out to everyone with a current MyHR record. This means that some temporary staff, and staff who are employed by a different organisation won’t be able to take part this time, but we’re looking into different ways of opening it up to more staff next time.

How to complete the survey

  1. Search your inbox for "Qlearsite.com"
  2. Open a message from Qlearsite sent on or after 8 March and follow your unique survey link to complete the survey
  3. Respond to 23 questions using the Likert scale (using the scale from strongly agree to strongly disagree) and five free text questions that are focussed on your experience of working at UCL
  4. Complete the eight demographic questions to help us understand more about you
  5. Save and exit

It should take less than 10 minutes to complete and the more people who respond, the more reliable the data we'll use to determine local and institutional action plans.
