PS Conference 2022: Watch the recordings from the day

25 July 2022

In May we were joined by almost 1,500 PS staff from across UCL for our first conference since 2019. We’ve now published recordings of the sessions and photos from the day.

At the end of May we hosted the Professional Services Conference: Back together, forward together

By hosting it both in-person and online, we were able to be joined by almost 1,500 central and faculty professional services staff from across UCL.

The conference was an opportunity for us to reconnect and reflect on our achievements over the past few years, as well as to look towards the future together – considering how, through our people, space, and technology, we can help maintain UCL as a world-leading research-intensive university and improve the experience of our staff and students.

We have now published recordings of the sessions from the day on the conference website. These include:

  • A look back on our recent achievements through five ‘Pride in PS’ stories;
  • Highlights from the Q&A with the Provost – we're currently working with the Provost’s Office to answer some more of your questions that weren’t answered on the day;
  • An overview of the UCL Strategy 2022-27 Enablers paper with a focus on our plans for research and innovation, as well as a Q&A with Fiona Ryland, Vice-President (Operations);
  • A presentation exploring how to leverage the benefits of diversity and foster innovation through inclusion;
  • Our winning and shortlisted ideas for improving our hybrid working experience and bringing the UCL community together – we'll keep you up to date with the progress of these initiatives over the coming months;
  • An insight into our plans for the future of work at UCL with a focus on people and space;
  • And two presentations illustrating the ways in which we can improve the digital experience of our staff and students.

A selection of photos from the day are also available on UCL ImageStore.
