Preparations for REF2021 – Research Staff

The process is underway to assess the eligibility of research staff for submission to REF2021. In line with guidance from the UK Funding Bodies, only research staff who qualify as ‘independent researchers’ will be included in UCL’s REF2021 submission.

All research staff on grade 7 and above will be contacted about the process and staff are encouraged to consult UCL’s Independent Researchers webpage and Code of Practice.  Email queries to uclref@ucl.ac.uk
