Adults needed for research exploring expectations in social situations

This research aims to investigate the ways in which an individual's beliefs and expectations of other people can influence their feelings and behaviours when in ambiguous social situations.

Group of friends Participants are needed to give 10 minutes of their time to take part. 

Who is it for?

This study needs participants who are:

  • Aged 18+
  • Not seeking/have not sought professional help for mental health difficulties 

What will it involve? 

This is an online study and taking part should take no longer than 10 minutes. You will be required to complete questionnaires and play an online game. You will automatically be taken to the debrief sheet once you have completed the study. 

By taking part, you will enter a prize draw for to win a selection of Amazon vouchers (3 x £50, 5 x £20).

This study has been approved by the UCL Research Ethics Committee, reference number: CEHP/2014/519. All the information collected as part of the study will be kept strictly confidential.
