UCL 2017 exam timetable to be published on 16 March

Technical issues mean that we are unable to publish the final timetable on 16 March as announced via email and myUCL.

The Exams team in Academic Services is working urgently to rectify these issues so students can be issued with their timetables as soon as possible. As soon as the overall timetable is confirmed, students will receive an email with their personal timetable. 

The exam period will run between 27 April and 9 June.

Regular updates on progress with producing the timetable will be posted on the Current Students website.

UCL will publish this year's exam timetable on 16 March 2017 and all exams will take place between 27 April and 9 June.

A number of improvements have been made to the exam timetable process in response to student feedback, including:

• Digital issue of candidate numbers: all students have already received their unique candidate number by email (2017 is the first year that they have been issued digitally).  A second email reminding you of your candidate number will be sent week commencing 13 March 2017

• Personalised exam timetable by email: instead of logging on to Portico to see your exam timetable, as soon as the timetable is published each student will receive an email with your personal exam timetable

• Opportunity for late-summer resits: UCL is expanding the late-summer resit pilot. This year 10% of programmes across all faculties will have the opportunity to resit exams in September 2017.

The publication date for the exam timetable is the same as last year. It has steadily been brought forward, with last year's exam timetable being published 10 days earlier than in 2015 and 15 days earlier than in 2014. We are continuing to develop our systems so that we can bring the date even further forward in future years.
