Job Description

We are looking to recruit a team of energetic and enthusiastic Global Ambassadors to work alongside UCL's Study Abroad and International Support teams to provide support to our new international students and outgoing study abroad students.

Pay & Hours 

The hourly rate will be £11.24. Global Ambassadors will be employed from July 2017 to June 2018, and will be required for various events and tasks over the course of the year.

Ambassadors are expected to work at least 5 hours per term, and applicants should therefore consider other commitments prior to applying. Some work will take place over the summer of 2017, outside of office hours and at the weekend. Depending on the task, it may also be possible to complete some work remotely. 

Interviews 

Interviews will take place on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 June. Applicants will need to be available to attend an in-person interview on one of these dates. We cannot consider applications from students who are not available to attend an in-person interview.

Training Day 

On Tuesday 27th June, successful candidates will be invited to attend a training day. Attending training is mandatory and you will be paid for your time. We cannot consider applications from students who are not available to attend the training day.

You will need to complete and submit your application form in one sitting. There is no facility to save your work and return later. The form will ask for your personal details and a personal statement explaining your reasons for applying for the post and detailing how you meet the criteria listed in the person specification. As it is not possible to save your work, it is advisable to write your personal statement in a Word document and copy and paste it into the online application form once complete. 

The closing date for this vacancy is Sunday 11 June at 5pm. Applications received after this will not be considered.
