29 June 2017
Students from the

org/BMENetwork" target="_self">UCLU BME (Black & Minority Ethnic) Students' Network have made a significant contribution to the Grenfell Tower aid effort.
A group of more than 30 students provided an immediate response, organising and delivering emergency help and aid for victims and survivors within hours of the tragedy.
The group worked hard to collect donations at UCL, also delivering and organising distribution of that aid to those affected, as well as helping to find accommodation for some of those displaced.
Among those involved were Rob Ahmed, who was personally affected and led on coordinating donations. In addition, Ayo Olatunji and others helped to arrange beds for those who lost their homes.
