18 January 2017

UCL's Information Services Division (ISD) is hosting free courses to help you improve your digital skills this term.

Laptop You are advised to sign up early to avoid disappointment.

IT for IOE  offer training in a wide range of digital tools including screencasting and video editing, blogging and Twitter, mind mapping and presentation tools, with some sessions specifically aimed at Mac users. New sessions this term include video sharing tools and a new advanced Endnote workshop.

Digital Skills Development sessions cover a range of desktop applications including Matlab, Photoshop, Excel, Unix , HTML & CSS, R with RStudio and more.   This term we are introducing new style 'workshops' by presenting a problem to be solved and encouraging you to use your prior experience, web searches, in-application help and fellow participants to find a solution. Our first workshop is in Excel Charting later this month.  For a full list of all our courses visit the student course catalogue

You can also go along to one of the regular Digital Skills Development drop-ins for some individual help.
