Free IT qualification for postgraduates

12 October 2016

Places are still available for UCL's 2016/17 European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) programme for postgraduates.

Laptop   The ECDL is an internationally recognised IT qualification and is offered free each year at UCL to a limited number of students.

In order to be eligible, postgraduate students for 2016/17 will need to attend an orientation session, study independently online and then sit exams at our Wednesday afternoon testing sessions.

The cost of ECDL tests and certification is borne by the Doctoral Skills Training Programme and ISD and students incur no fee. This includes all seven module tests, a mock test for each module and registration with the BCS. It also includes online learning materials, although these are available free of charge to UCL staff and students anyway.

For more information visit UCL's ECDL web pages.
