Tier 4 immigration overview and update for UCL staff

5 May 2016

Do you work with students on a Tier 4 student visa? Would it be helpful for you to know what is expected from your students who are sponsored on a Tier 4 visa, so that both UCL and the student are compliant with current immigration regulations? The UCL International Student Support team in collaboration with the Visa Compliance team, is organising a series of sessions to provide an overview of Tier 4 student visa regulations and an update on recent immigration changes such as Right to Rent, Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs), the Immigration Health Surcharge, right to work during and after studies and more.

Quad summer These sessions are open to all staff members, (no prior knowledge of Tier 4 is required), and there will be an opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.

The sessions will take place on the dates shown below at a venue in the UCL Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, WC1H 0AL, www.ucl.ac.uk/ioe/contact-us. If you would like to attend a session, please register your interest online. Places are limited and will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
