Participants needed for study on mood and walking

14 January 2016

UCL researchers are looking for people who normally exercise less than twice-a-week to help in an online study of the effects of motivating strategies on mood and exercise (brisk walking).

Mood and walking study

If you exercise less than twice-a-week and are interested in taking part, researchers will ask you to complete an online questionnaire and set yourself a goal of increasing the amount of brisk walking you do over two weeks. Then they will email you two brief online questionnaires at the end of weeks one and two.

The first 150 participants who set a goal of increasing brisk walking and complete the two follow-up questionnaires will be entered into a prize draw to win one of six prizes (1x £250, 2x £75, 1x £50 and 2x £25).

After 150 participants have signed up, researchers will close the study, so be brisk!
