Participants needed for online survey examining language learning experiences
18 August 2016
The
ucl.ac.uk/cognitive-benefits-language-learning">Cognitive Benefits of
Language Learning' project based in the UCL Deafness Cognition and
Language Research Centre and the UCL Institute of Education is asking students
and staff to complete their online questionnaire examining attitudes towards
language learning among people living in the UK.

The survey which should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete, will allow researchers to complete a final report that aims at initiating change in public understanding of the cognitive benefits of language learning.
Researchers also want the study to aid the development of current and future strategies and policies for language education in different contexts, in turn impacting on the wellbeing of individuals, coherence of communities, and the socio-cultural and economic development of Britain.
Eligibility
Participants do not need to speak more than one language to take part. Researchers are interested in understanding everyone's perceptions about language learning.
