Cambridge English CELTA/Teaching English as a Foreign Language information session (26 September)
11 August 2016
Would you like to teach English as a Foreign Language after you graduate or in your holidays? If so, UCL Centre for Languages & International Education is hosting an information on 26 September (13:00-14:00) in
The session is aimed at undergraduates who are interested in gaining the internationally recognised Cambridge English CELTA teaching qualification while studying for their degree programme.
UCL Centre for Languages & International
Education is one of the few higher education institutions in the UK who
offer this unique opportunity to combine the CELTA course with a course unit.
Students who have taken this course before have gone on to teach both in the UK
and abroad and have found it to be a very valuable experience both in terms of
gaining an additional qualification. Participants have also noted the positive impact that the course had on other
aspects of their academic study (for example in developing confidence,
presentation skills, and the ability to work with other undergraduates from a
range of disciplines and year groups).
At this information event, you can expect to find out what the course involves
and how it could fit into your other studies at UCL (booking is not required).
