Earn £10 by taking part in a study on public Wi-Fi

UCL researchers are looking for participants to take part in a study examining behaviour and rationale when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks.

Earn £10 by taking part in a study on public Wi-Fi

Participants will need to own at least one mobile device (e.g. smart phone, tablet, etc.) and have the ability to connect to public Wi-Fi networks through their device(s).

In order to analyse the results, researchers audio-record the study session and later write them up. They keep the written records with any individual identifiable information removed. The original file will be deleted by the end of August 2016. The sessions will take place at Starbucks on Tottenham Court Road, near University College London (UCL) campus.

All data will be collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (registration number: Z6364106/2016/02/56). This study has received an approval from UCL Research Ethics Committee (no: 8539/001).
