Top 10 places at UCL

We asked current UCL students in the myUCL e-newsletter to share their favourite places across campus.

  • The English reading room in the Main Library: "comfortable and quiet to work in".
  • The Institute of Archaeology's sixth floor balcony, "for its beautiful view".
  • Chandler House: "slightly off the main campus that has everything in and around it that you'd need".
  • The Print Room Café: "a nice and comfortable place to read emails and hang out with friends".
  • The Donaldson Reading Room in the Main Library, "which is very grandiose".
  • The classics reading room in the Main Library, "overlooking the Quad".
  • "The sofas in Senate House are class".
  • The disability suite (SEnIT Suite). "You can get a lot of work done and have a coffee just next door".
  • The portico steps at night.
