UCL statement: Paris attacks

14 November 2015

"The UCL community wishes to send its support to the people of Paris and France after the terrible events that occurred in Paris on Friday night.

French flag  We also wish to send our condolences to the families of the victims of these horrific attacks.

"In memory of those that have lost their lives, we are flying our flag at half mast. To the many students and staff that we have from France, and to those in Paris at the moment, our thoughts are with you over this tragic weekend.

A minute's silence in memory of the victims of the Paris attacks is to be held across Europe on Monday 16 November at 11am. The UCL community of staff and students is invited to join together to observe the silence.

We have reached out to all our students currently in France to provide a range of support, and will continue to monitor the situation and stay in touch with all those affected under our care."
