Ameson Year in China Ambassadors programme: apply now

The Ameson Ambassadors programme is designed to help graduates launch global careers after spending a year teaching, learning, discovering and making a difference in public schools across China.

Founded in 1994, the Ameson Foundation is a non-profit NGO committed to the advancement of cultural and educational exchange. 

Benefits

The programme offers the following benefits:

  • 5000 RMB ($800) per month
  • 7500 RMB ($1,200) Travel Allowance
  • Full Legal Status (Chinese Work Visa & Residence Permit)
  • TEFL Training and Certification (Free 120-hour course)
  • Health Insurance inside China
  • Chinese Language Lessons
  • Cultural excursions arranged by host schools
  • Housing (conveniently located)
  •  Full support including airport pickup, arrival support, teaching support, 24/7 assistance.

Criteria

Students interested in applying for the programme must meet the following criteria:

  • Native English
  • Bachelor's degree, or higher
  • Adaptive and culturally sensitive
  • Must pass criminal background check.
  • Positive attitude toward educational exchange.
