UCL Student and Registry Services relocation

UCL Student and Registry Services is moving from the South Wing, in the Wilkins Building and 2 Taviton Street to 1-19 Torrington Place as part of the adoption of new working practices and the ongoing relocation of Professional Services division.

Student Psychological Services and the Student Centre will remain in 3-4 Taviton Street and the ground floor of the Chadwick Building respectively. The Student Centre will continue to operate as the student-facing hub and all student-related enquiries should be directed here in the first instance.

Relocation on 10 and 17 July

On 10 July the Admissions and the Points Based Immigration teams will be the first to make the move, relocating to the 8th floor of 1-19 Torrington Place. On 17 July, the Access and Student Funding teams will relocate to the 7th floor. On the same date, Assessment & Student Records, Portico Services, Academic Services and the Registrar's Office will also relocate to the 9th floor of Torrington Place.

Staff from International Student Support and Welfare, Student Support and Events, Student Disability Services and the Study Abroad Team, all of whom form a part of UCL Student Support and Wellbeing, will remain in the South Wing and 2 Taviton Street in the short-term. It is anticpiated that In Autumn 2015 these teams will move to Level 4 of the IOE Building, dates will be confirmed in due course.

The ultimate goal of the relocation is to provide increased integration and centralisation of services. It is also hoped it will promote dynamic new ways of working which will provide staff with greater flexibility and ensure a sustainable model for usage of space across UCL.
